Special sale of cottages donated by David J. Tate, M.B.E.,
founder of Lilliput Lane

David J. Tate, M.B.E., founder of Lilliput Lane, has donated a large collection of cottages to be sold for charity. Many of these cottages belonged to his mother.

Eden Valley Hospice logo All proceeds from the sale are being donated to Eden Valley Hospice located near Carlisle, Cumbria. Eden Valley Hospice is a registered charity that provides specialist palliative care for people with incurable or life limiting illnesses, enabling them and their carers to live life as fully and independently as possible.

Please visit the Eden Valley Hospice web site for more information about this wonderful organization.

The cottages are being sold in small groups, as shown below. Each group is being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. The price listed for each group is the minimum asking amount for the group, but contributions over that are most welcome. Please note that shipping costs are not included.

Some of the cottages have minor scuff marks or chips, as shown in the pictures. A couple of cottages have larger chips or have been repaired, and separate pictures are included to show this. All of the cottages will be provided in Lilliput Lane boxes, but not all are original boxes and the condition of the original boxes can vary. (Our thanks go to ENESCO LTD. who kindly donated Lilliput Lane boxes for those models that did not have boxes.) Some of the cottages have been signed by David and include a special inscription.

To purchase one or more groups, or if you have any questions, please contact us.

Our thanks go to David for his generous donation. Please help us raise as much money as possible from these cottages for Eden Valley Hospice.
